Mission
Pride of Monterey County is a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicating to providing support to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (“LGBT”) community by providing literature, events and activities. Pride of Monterey County has at least one educational event per month, as well as our signature Valentine’s Dance and July Pride celebration. Check the website often to find out what we have planned for the coming month and watch for our Pride calendar of events for the year coming soon.

Board Meetings:
Pride Board meetings are currently private, however, with notice, the public is often allowed to attend. Agenda’s are established by the Executive Committee in advance of each scheduled board meeting. The Board of Directors reserves the right to discuss matters of strategy, legal, and human resource items in Executive Session. The location, date and time of a meeting is available by emailing board@montereypride.org.

InterPride exists to (1) promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride on an international level, (2) increase networking and communication among Pride Organizations, (3) encourage diverse communities to hold and attend Pride Events, and (4) act as a source of education.
