Volunteers

Pride of Monterey County is a volunteer run organization that works year round to host a variety of events to fundraise and raise awareness of important LGBT related issues.

Our volunteer members are the fuel that makes almost every branch of our work possible. The volunteer force works with sponsors to acquire advertising and other promotional opportunities, staffs all of our outreach operations, and drives the majority of operations at our large events.

Pride of Monterey County is a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to providing support to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (“LGBT”) community by providing literature, events and activities. Pride of Monterey County has at least one educational event per month, as well as our signature Valentine’s Dance and July Pride celebration. Check the website often to find out what we have planned for the coming month and watch for our Pride calendar of events for the year coming soon.
