SUPPORT Pride of Monterey County

Monterey, California, one of the most beautiful destinations in the US, plays yearly host to a unique pride event. This event celebrates, unites and supports the LGBT community, not only for Monterey County proper, but also for the coastal communities of Pacific Grove, Carmel-by-the-Sea and Santa Cruz, and even reaches inland, to the Salinas Valley and the rural communities of Castroville, Moss Landing, Watsonville and far beyond. Held annually at the picturesque, centrally located Monterey Fairgrounds, Our Pride Day event to be held Saturday July 12th 2008, boasts a live variety-style stage show, spacious vendor and concesion areas, ample parking as well as a classic, family-oriented picnic atmosphere. Our 2007 celebration attracted more than 800 attendees, and the event continues to draw an increased turnout with each passing year.

Now entering our 18th year, Pride of Monterey County, a completely volunteer organization of dedicated and socially conscious individuals, seeks community support to make this year's event an even bigger celebration.
